The full program of events for the 150th Bendigo Easter Fair will be available in early March 2022. 
Some of the key events that will feature on the program include: 

Vision Australia Easter Egg Hunt

Friday April 15, 2022

Join the exciting search for 85,000 Easter eggs in Rosalind Park on Good Friday . The chocolate eggs will be hidden in non-allergenic wood-wool at the beautiful Rosalind Park for more than thousands of children to find. Easter egg hunts are organised for separate age groups over various time slots throughout each day. Tickets will go on sale Friday March 4 and are available through theBendigo Visitor Centre or visit

This event is a major fundraiser for Vision Australia. 

Rotary Market

9am - 4pm- Friday April 15 and Monday April 18, 2022

Take a wander through this expansive market, browsing through a range of arts and craft, handmade goodies, unique treasures, collectables, tasty produce and much more. There will be more than 200 stalls across the two days, plus live local music and delicious BBQs to enjoy.

Please note that the second day of the market has been moved to Easter Monday for the 2022 event. 

Bendigo TAFE Carnival Central

Friday April 15 - Monday April 18, 2022

Enjoy the excitement of the carnival atmosphere. Delight in the thrill of the rides and try your luck along sideshow alley. The popular carnival rides will open from 10am - 11pm Friday - Sunday and Monday from 10am - 6pm.

Awakening of the Dragon

2pm - Sunday April 17, 2020

A traditional celebration of lion and dragon dance, presented by the Bendigo Chinese Association and visiting lion teams. It will conclude with lighting a spectacular string of 100,000 firecrackers used to wake Dai Gum Loong for the Bendigo Advertiser Gala Parade. For the 2022 event, this event will take place on Easter Sunday. 

This iconic festival event is proudly presented by the Bendigo Chinese Association.

Sherridon Homes Torchlight Procession

7pm - Sunday April 17, 2022

The Sherridon Homes Torchlight Procession will light up Bendigo's streetscapes magnificently on Easter Sunday evening. Featuring illuminated entries from local emergency services, community groups and the Bendigo Chinese Association.

To conclude, a dynamic fireworks display will erupt over Rosalind Park.

Bendigo Advertiser Gala Parade

12.30pm - Monday April 18, 2022

Experience a festival tradition filled with colour and excitement. Watch bands, cultural groups, dance troupes, sporting clubs, school groups and many more as they perform along the parade route. Experience the amazing Dai Gum Loong, the world's longest Imperial Dragon, as he weaves his way through Bendigo's historic streetscapes.
