The Bendigo Easter Festival program features two parades:

  • Torchlight Procession on Easter Saturday March 27, 2027
  • Gala Parade on Easter Sunday March 28, 2027

Our parades are a traditional family favourite for many local and visitors alike, and the absolute highlight of the festival. Sweeping through city streets bringing colour, dance, movement and music to all.  

The parade route is 1.5km long and follows View Street, Pall Mall, McCrae Street, Chapel Street and Bridge Street.

Assembly location: QEO Car Park and Upper View Street.

Dispersal location: Tom Flood Sports Centre Car Park.

2026 Timeline for parade entries

  • Thursday October 30, 2025 - Parade Entry Information Session (see above details)
     
  • Thursday October 30, 2025 - Expression of Interest (EOI) applications open
     
  • Friday January 16, 2026 - Expression of Interest applications close
     
  • Monday February 2, 2026 - Parade entry registration form open (for approved EOI applicants)
     
  • Friday March 6, 2026 - Parade entry registration form closes
     
  • Thursday March 26, 2026 - Parade entry final briefing - a representative from all entries must attend
