Rotary Club of Kangaroo Flat Easter Hole in One competition

The Rotary Club of Kangaroo Flat will be running a three day “Hole In One” Golf event over the Easter weekend. The Club "Hole in One" funds are used to support local Charities, local Schools and other local groups in the Bendigo area who require assistance.

The Rotary Club of Kangaroo Flat has been running this event for over 40 years, raising funds for local community groups. And, you do not need to be a champion golfer to take part.

The major prize this year for a “Hole In One” is a Cash Prize of $2,000 and the runner up prize is a $500 gift voucher.

The event is hoping to raise $10,000- $15,000 over the three days. Approximately 15,000 golf balls will be hit from the tees to the green over the 3 days.

The event will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day. If there is more than one Hole in One, a playoff will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday 5th April, for the major prize. There are prizes throughout the three days for the "first ball" in the one and three metre circles at designated times and a "Nearest the Pin" prize each day (This year a Ripper Golf Hat signed by Bendigo's
Lucas Herbert a member of Australia's LIV Golf team).

For the competition, the club packages golf balls in containers of $5, $10 and $20.
